Do you know most of your wealth(Property, Income accounts, etc. ) can end up going to the Government if there is no Will or Nominee mentioned? Writing a will is an important step to ensure that your wishes are carried out after your passing. It is also important that your dear ones and your dependents have the money and resources to survive and use after you.

Let me first give you some reasons and then some tips on writing a will.

Why is Writing a Will Important ?

  1. Distribution of assets

A will allows you to specify how you want your assets and possessions to be distributed among your loved ones. Without a will, your estate will be distributed according to the laws of intestacy, which may not align with your preferences.

2. Guardianship of minors

If you have minor children, a will allows you to designate a guardian who will take care of them in the event of your death. Without a will, the court will decide who will assume guardianship, and it may not be someone you would have chosen.
